Al-Ma'un
The Small Kindness
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ﴿1﴾
HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement?
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ﴿2﴾
It is he who pushes the orphan away,
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ﴿3﴾
And does not induce others to feed the needy.
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ﴿4﴾
Woe to those who pray
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ﴿5﴾
But who are oblivious of their moral duties,
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ﴿6﴾
Who dissimulate
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ﴿7﴾
And withhold things of common use (from others).
